Azhars Mask KN95

The Main Critical component is a material called Meltblown Fiber Meltblown non woven fibers are smaller in denier (measured in microns) than those woven in textiles. Meltblowns have a smooth texture and a circular cross section, providing a service area excellent for insulation, softness and most importantly filtration charteristic utilize in mask highly effective when combine with spunbond and cottons.
For all masks the critical ingredient is the melt blown fiber.
The following criterias are important:
1. The quality of the melt blown fiber utilized
2. The number of layers of melt blown fibers used
3. The thickness of the fiber used
Please see videos of the manufacturing of the Meltblown fiber.

BFE/VFE ≥95% Meltblown Fiber manufacturing process

Quality isn't expensive, Cheap is Expensive
Melt Blown Quality Comparison

– N95s and KN95s are both rated to capture 95% of particles
– Have slightly stronger requirements for breath-ability

Inside Finer Quality Mask BFE > 95%

Inside Lower Quality Mask BFE >20%

The second most important ingredient is the spunbond fabric made of fine cotton and the bonding process.

ES hot air blown cotton Spunbond process

Spunbond Fiber:

The following criterias are important:
1. The quality of the cotton used (finest spunbond used imported vietnamcotton)
2. Number of layers of the fabric
3. The quality of the bonding of the cotton

What is the difference between spunbond and meltblown?

“The key difference between the spunbonded process and melt-blowing is in the die assembly. In the melt-blown process hot air converges with the fiber as it emerges from the die, whereas in the spunbond process the hot air flow is at a
cross flow to the emerging fiber.”
